A very hot topic came to discussion on Saturday (yes, still writing in English…) .

The agenda “Towards a green democratic reform of the EU”. And yes, you can imagine the debate! Several of the topics was kinda’ the same: how can we as a green party work towards a more democratic organization when there is so much to solve, before we can discuss this issues.

It was the north/south Europe conflict – a richer vs “a poorer” southern part of European – who will bear the the financial burden. Sweden pointed out the lack of democratic processes within EU, Ukraine pointed towards the development of dictatorship in the heart of Europe in one of Europe’s biggest nations, Switzerland adressed if the green movement has the courage to say no to the national state and so on.

As you could imagine, there is a lot to discuss and debate, and the discussions is ongoing.
