On my way to see Brann-Vålerenga in the Norwegian Tippeliga, and the morons strikes here in Norway. A huge fight just outside the Nationalteatret subway station – about 50 people. Since there has been two matches played in the Norwegian tippeliga, this is my shot at guessing what will be the outcome. Rosenborg Brann Stabekk Tromsø Viking Lillestrøm Molde Fredrikstad Lyn Bodø/Glimt Strømsgodset Start Vålerenga Sandefjord Aalesund Odd Grenland On paper, this should, unfortunately, be a walk in the park for the trønder boys…

It happened, Åge Hareide withdraw from his position as the manager for the Norwegian football team. Not surprisingly, looking at the results the last year. My idea, get Guus Hiddink, buy out Steinar Nilsen as manager for Brann and get Hareide as the new manager for Brann – that’s the best solution for all parties!

Steinar Nilsen, the former manager of Tromsø, signed a three-year contract with Brann today, starting January 1st 2009. Despite having pushed Tromsø to third-place in Tippeligaen 2008, I really don’t know. I’m hoping for the best, but I’m skeptical.
